How NFC cards with a QR code work
Each card opens the same link in two ways: an NFC chip the phone reads when tapped, and a QR code the camera reads. So it works for every customer.

- 1
Tap or point
The customer taps the top of the phone on the card (NFC) or points the camera at the QR code.
- 2
Open the link
A notification appears; one tap opens the page: Google review, Instagram profile or menu.
- 3
Act
The customer picks the stars, taps "Follow" or browses the menu. Nothing to install.
NFC or QR code: which is better?
NFC is faster: just tap, no camera. It works on iPhones from the XS (2018) and most Android phones, as long as NFC is on.
The QR code works on any phone with a camera. That's why our cards have both: NFC phones tap, everyone else scans.
Tips for better results
- Put the plate where customers stop: next to the card terminal or at reception.
- Ask out loud: "if you enjoyed it, leave us a review here".
- On metal surfaces NFC may not work; the QR always does.
Technical questions
Does the card need a battery or internet?
No. The NFC chip is passive and powered by the phone. The customer's phone needs internet to open the page.
Does the card store customer data?
No. The card only holds a link. It collects and stores nothing.
Can the card point to something else?
We write the link. We can set another destination (your website or WhatsApp, for example); get in touch.
